Talk about a mind**ing troll! I thought the duel between Yuma and Shark was intense, but in a psychological state, Tron has pushed the boundaries off the deep end! The man has gone all Yami Marik crazy on us, until a little bit later, but let's start at the beginning.
World Duel Carnival Semi-Final battle, pretty sub-standard. Kaito immediately starts off by summoning his best monster. Tron was able to reverse this almost flawlessly. 'Almost' as in his attempt failed. Of course, we hear more of the 'revenge on Dr.Faker' from Tron, but as we continue listening, Tron once again is playing mind games with him. For one, they both have similar types of ambitions that he notes, telling Kaito they would do anything to get their goals, especially stealing souls. Now, go back to Kaito's turn, he tries to end it in one turn, summoning V, or should I say, Chris Arclight's Number Monster, Dyson Sphere. That OTK also failed. No surprise. However, THIS PART WAS. Tron taking off his mask to reveal, oh god, Haruto's face! How was this possible? Well, remember that one episode where Haruto's powers got stolen? Yeah, that also stole Haruto's face and identity as well! And you know what is the kick to the shins? If Tron gets hurt, so does Haruto! To be honest with you, that image kind of looks like a monkey. Playing this low has angered mostly everyone, including myself, where it has become a literal, almost Haruto vs Kaito battle! Speaking of battles, Tron was able to summon No.8 and was able to destroy Dyson Sphere with his effects.
(That was Tron's psychological dueling strategy guide! Buy it along with Yami Marik's latest book, 'Can I get a bloody murdeur, I mean Hug?' out on shelves now!)
Moving right along to the next episode, the duel continues, where Tron pulls another jerkwad move by making the damage, as he put it "assault their physical bodies". Hooray for Marik's torture methods.
Later on, Kaito tries to fight against Tron, but he finds almost no strength to continue, well, mentally. Anyways, Yuma and Astral also try to help the brothers out, going to the tower to see Haruto's condition. They find out he's perfectly fine…until Tron had shown up, proving that Tron and Haruto were linked. It was a little disturbing, but Yuma and Astral were able to force Tron's consciousness out of Haruto. That was done in a mere few seconds to be honest. To me, that's just a really anti-climatic end to that sub-plot conflict.
Moving on, Tron is no longer connected to Haruto, making Kaito unleash his inner anger towards Tron. Although, even summoning his powerful Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon didn't give Kaito the win. In fact, Tron pulls out a new number! Number 69, that being the devil number!(if I am correct) That number card looks very similar to something, wouldn't you say? What could it be? Hmmmm…oh yeah! it's face looks like the normal form of Kyurem! That, is just shameful. And plus, that monster easily overkilled Kaito's Xyz Monster! That, was even more shameful. Worst part? All of the mind games that he played with them was to summon just this monster! That's a huge waste of time if you ask me. Also, why doesn't Kaito activate the card he had facedown? Wouldn't he, I don't know, USE IT TO SAVE HIS LIFE?!?!?! Seriously! In the last duel, everyone knew that Shark's card would be the selling one to win or lose the duel, so why didn't Kaito use it? And after all that, Kaito loses everything. Even the number cards he had took, and from the last shot we've seen, he wasn't going to wake up AT ALL. So for the final match, looks like we'll be seeing Yuma vs Tron, but what did I think of this episode overall?

It was intense, but a little short. That being said, the duel between Tron and Kaito was nothing more than a small distraction, the big part of it being Tron being a complete troll with Kaito and Dr.Faker the entire duel. Watch it, but be prepared cause you might have something die inside.
…unlike the Droite vs Tron Episode.
